At cetome, we are committed to cybersecurity and data privacy. This policy explains how we collect and process information when you visit the REDact website and download our compliance toolkit.

02 — Privacy-Aware Tracking (Matomo)

To improve the REDact toolkit and understand how our resources are used, we rely on Matomo, a privacy-aware web analytics solution. Unlike traditional tracking platforms, Matomo is configured to respect your privacy by:

• Anonymizing IP addresses to ensure no individual user can be identified.
• Storing all data on our own secure infrastructure.
• Tracking download counts for REDact to measure impact and prioritise updates.
• Respecting "Do Not Track" browser settings.

The data collected is used solely for the technical improvement of REDact and is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

03 — Data Storage

The toolkit (Excel documents and templates) operates entirely locally on your machine. cetome does not have access to the information you enter into the Scoping, Risk Assessment, Decision Trees, or E.Info templates. Your compliance data remains your property and stays within your organisation.
